Jane McVerry was born and educated in the UK. She received an Economics degree from Newcastle University, and was an Economics professor in the UK for 5 years before moving to New York where she has resided for 20 years. She started her career in Real Estate at Itzhaki Properties, negotiating commercial deal such as The James Hotel. She quickly realized that she had a passion and a niche in retail leasing. She moved to the Lansco Corporation and started developing relationships with landlords, tenants and the brokerage community. As such, Jane has an in depth understanding of the operational level of both real estate owners and the retail tenants they seek. She quickly gained a reputation as a deal maker by using creative strategy to find solutions for her client’s real estate needs. The time was then right to start her own company, and Atria Properties LLC was formed. Jane has a highly qualified team of brokers who have been hand selected for their unique approach and knowledge of retail leasing. The aim is to give each client the benefit of the one to one brokerage experience. Jane works with a vast array of clients providing them with tailor made real estate solutions drawing on her strengths in economic analysis. Her style is collaborative, hard working and she has the ability to navigate solutions with ease to close the deal. She represents a large number of major real estate owners and developers throughout NYC who trust her exclusively to optimize their real estate investments. Jane’s knowledge of the industry and vast experience in deal making alongside a love for the industry she works in, brings enthusiasm and dedication to each project she dedicates herself to.
Julia Tisdal joined Atria Properties in 2013, specializing in tenant and landlord representation in New York City. She has worked with brands such as Resurrection Vintage, Jayson Home, Jason Scott, Jimmy Webb’s I Need More, Frank & Oak, and Chalait to name a few. She has also played a role in the leasing of numerous retail and office locations throughout Manhattan. Julia’s clients all have the same thing to say about her: “No job is too small for Julia. She is entrepreneurial and becomes a fully integral part of the team when making a deal.” Julia began her career at the Estee Lauder Companies where she worked in the Global Marketing and Communications department for the Jo Malone brand. Prior to joining Atria Properties, she was a Marketing Director at Media Ventures Group. This unique background shaped the foundation for her real estate career by giving her a strong understanding of the role marketing plays in the leasing of commercial real estate, and the importance of building strong relationships with clients. Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts, Degree in Communications with a Special Studies in Business from the University of Oklahoma. She is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New York.
